Ivanovic Pretty in Pink
It was recently announced that Ana Ivanovic’s 2010 US Open tennis dress will be the Adidas Adilibria dress at $70, which comes in a new radiant pink with Ultra Beauty and white and white with Ultra Beauty. Ana’s dress is very flattering, lightweight with lots of cooling detail. The color is very lovely; the style is cute, wearable for the courts and for any other daytime event. The dress features contrast piping around the neckline, paneled skirt on back, and under the bust line. The heat transfer Adidas logo is located on the bust. 2 front mesh panels and one on the back have a tonal geometric design. The length from underarm to hem is 25″. Ventilated ClimaCool technology will keep Ivanovic cool and comfortable in even the warmest of conditions by actively expelling heat and sweat away from her body. The Adilibrai tennis collection offers leggings to go with the dress at $30 and a coordinating jacket at $75.
At just 2 weeks out from the US Open tennis schedule , it’s a good time for the Serb to get her confidence up. Plus, it will be nice for her to get a good result to show the Montreal tournament directors just what they passed up. A comeback over a quality opponent may have been just the kind of win Ivanovic needed.
Serena May Miss US Open Tennis Tournament
Serena Williams, ranked No.1 in the world, was spotted hobbling around Beverly Hills on crutches due to deep cuts to her foot when she stepped on broken glass in a restaurant. Even though her tweets say not to worry and that she’ll be playing in the US Open tennis championship, there’s still speculation that she might not make the US Open tennis schedule .
Williams’ return to the Open has been widely anticipated due to her tumultuous semifinal loss to Kim Clijsters in 2009. However, her spokesman, Andrew Walker has repeatedly said Williams is questionable for the final Grand Slam of the year.
Serena’s foot did need stitches after the incident, which was after she won her 4th Wimbledon crown and 13th major title earlier in July. The injury was believed not to be serious as she played in an exhibition in Brussels July 8th against Clijsters . Clijsters commended Serena just before the exhibition game in Brussels, saying that she knew how serious Serena’s foot injury was and that if it were she, Clijsters wouldn’t be playing. Williams subsequently withdrew from upcoming tournaments in Istanbul, Cincinnati and Montreal –which begins on August 16th only weeks before the US Open which kicks off August 30th.
It would be a real tragedy if Serena wasn’t playing at the Open this year. Attendance might go down as well as TV viewing. According to many tennis enthusiasts, it wouldn’t be right to see the US Open tennis scores and not see Serena’s listed.
Lohan Weighing Treatment Options from Behind Bars
According to TMZ, Lindsey Lohan has been meeting with representatives from drug rehab centers in anticipation of her upcoming court-mandated drug rehab treatment. Judge Marsha Revel has ordered that Lohan enter a 90-day treatment program once she finished her jail time.
Lohan reportedly spent part of last weekend talking with several rehab officials who visited her at the Lynwood Correctional Facility. The final decision as to which drug rehab program Lohan will attend rests with court-appointed psychiatrists rather than LiLo herself.
